Overland Park, KS – October 3rd , 2011 – The Chase Group, a trusted partner for nearly 20 years in life sciences executive recruiting, is continuing to grow with the addition of Rick Hertzenberg as Vice President of Business Development. Hertzenberg will focus on expanding the pharmaceutical and biotech client base.

Rick has more than 30 years of business development, executive management and sales experience in medical groups, healthcare centers, executive recruiting firms and insurance agencies. Highlights of his career include entrepreneurial endeavors such as starting a durable medical equipment company, an occupational medicine company, a life insurance company, an insurance agency and a financial services organization. He has led an 88-member physician network, a 125-member physician network, two physician/hospital organizations and a management services organization. In the past eight years, he sold more than 500 retained executive searches in the healthcare field. Previously, Rick served as a Regional Vice President for search firm B.E. Smith in Lenexa, Kansas, as Vice President for the Salina Regional Health Center and as President/CEO of Physicians Network, Inc. in Wisconsin.
Rick is passionate about helping clients deliver results. His knowledge of the search process and ability to develop long-term relationships will help clients in their talent planning and management.
