Ms. Poulson comes to Akcea from her most recent role as Vice President, Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. She brings with her 20 years of experience in human resources in the U.S. and Europe, having held roles that included building and managing company talent, delivering customized programs and services to support overall business strategy. Additionally, Carla provides innovative business solutions and strategic counsel to executive leadership.
